My LCP wont reassemble. :(

So. I got back from a great day at the range today and started cleaning my guns. I got through the Glock and the AR but then it came down to the LCP. I stripped it down like usual and cleaned and oiled all the parts. While doing all of this, my brother pulled the trigger on the empty frame, which decocked the gun.

Now I cant get the slide to go back on.


Has anyone else had this problem?

maybe you have already tried this but you are able to recock the hammer then try

re-cock it. it will go back together just fine. use the hammer. pull it halfway back with your finger and you'll feel it lock. no worries at all.

Yep, just "pre-cock" the hammer. And cold-cock your brother.

In general, it is bad to pull a trigger on any gun that's been disassembled. It'll screw some of them up in a bad way.
