My nephew was murdered this morning

18 years old, his throat was cut by a older man. My neph was one of those who just couldn't get his life together but was never in any major trouble. He had gone back to H S to complete the one class he needed and did so last week We were pretty certain his wild days were behind him. We don't know the whole story but he was killed by an older man, my bet is my nephew stepped in to help a particular girl who we also know. But, we'll find out later today.
Talk about a graphic reminder of whay we carry and why we bother to learn color codes and use them.

I'm so sorry, I feel your pain. The loss of someone you love is terrible. I lost one brother in 2010 when a man in his late 40's went home and got a shotgun to end a argument that was over with. My brother had just made it home from Iraq on leave. He was on his second tour of duty. St. Patrick's Day hasn't been the same ever since. Last year I lost a second brother when some 18 year old kid ran him off the road while he was riding his motorcycle. My brother was killed instantly.

I'm not ashamed to say I still cry when I reminded of them. I have both of their dogs too. They were both in their 20's. I really am sorry for your loss, it seems harder when someone is taken at a young age. Nothing will comfort you, even locking up the guy that did this. I have no idea what is wrong with people these days. People kill others over a minor slight. The only thing you can do is hope this sub-human is caught. When or if you get a chance to speak at his trial say what you feel. It sounds like your nephew was getting his life together, which makes what happened even harder to deal with. I am so sorry for your loss, I can't say this enough. I only pray that this worthless nothing is caught and gets a real taste of justice.
