Today I finally received my 5.5" H&R 676 convertible. I went to my FFL, paid him & quick ran to the range with 100 rounds of magnums. What a delight! In single action: easy hits on fist sized rocks on the berm behind the 25 yard targets. The double action trigger isn't too bad either. I'd give it a medium stiffness rating. Firing pretty rapidly in DA, I got about 4" groups at the middle distance target, which I guess is at 15 yards or so. It'll be way better when I get used to it. About half the price of a used convertible Single Six, too. C'est magnifique!

Now that's a really nice revolver woad_yurt.

I was lucky enough to find a H&R M949 recently. It shoots only .22LR ammo but it does hold 9 rounds. I really like all the old H&R revolvers. Too bad they stopped making them. I agree about the accuracy. I found this revolver to be very accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. Also, the double action trigger on my revolver is surprisingly smooth.

I also found a nice holster for it in a junk box of a dealer at a gun show. It cost me only $2.00 !!!
