Are there any 22 revolvers with a changeable cylinder that are also double action. There are several convertible revolvers out there but it seems they are all single action only.

I've got one. They're no longer made, however.

It's an H&R with a solid frame and an ejector like a single action. It looks like a skinny cowboy gun with a long barrel, but internally, it works like H&R's old double-action top breaks and swing-outs AFAIK. Same trigger guard, too.

25 years old or so, maybe a bit more.

They made a number of variants, with or without fluted cylinders, 6-shot and 9-shot, etc., with various model numbers.

Here's one:

A S&W model 48 with a 22lr cylinder is called a Model 17 :)

Changing cylinders on an S&W should not be done unless you really know what you are doing.

The Smith and Wesson 48 (Magnum) was available with an extra .22 long rifle cylinder from the factory. For a long period of time, those with 48s without the extra cylinder could also send their gun in to be fitted with an extra long rifle cylinder. Changing cylinders on these guns is easy.

Bringing this one back up...I've been searching for the same type of pistol and I think I found one with made by EAA. It's the Target model and comes with 22LR and 22 Mag cylinders. I don't know much about it so the research continues...

SW used to make a 22 LR cylinder for their 651 22 mag revolver. It is not made any more and is worth a lot of money. Of course, Mr. IQ here sold his. :(
