Got a new rifle, Savage 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor, Went with a somewhat common reload, I had a match coming up in 2 days and had basically an hour after work to get it sighted in and ready to go. Loaded up 100 rounds and took it out.

Here is a shot video, the rifle has less than 20 rounds threw it in this video
Shooting 475 -825 yards.
6.5 Creedmoor 475 & 825 Yards - YouTube

The match went good for what little time I had with the rifle. I got 6th place out of 19 shooters

This was from one of the stages, 200 yards weak side! "left handed"

After less than 90 rounds threw the rifle, I am very happy with it.
Mind if I ask what load you were using? I've got a Creedmoor and am still searching for the best load for my rifle. So far it's with RL 17. Thanks.
nice shooting, as always! how do you feel about the switch to savage? looks like you are using the same glass?
Very nice rifle and shooting.

What stock is that? Looks like a B&C, and is different than what Savage has pictured for the LRP. Is it the stock stock?
rayatphonix, 142SMK 43gr H4350, but work up to that please!

back40, A gun is a gun, Savage beat Remington on this decision, Everything I wanted in a gun for under a grand! Yes same glass, SWFA SS 3-15x42

C-grunt , SWFA SS 3-15x42
475 yards is 2.4 MIL or 8 moa
825 yards is 5.7 MIL or 19.4 moa

Tim the student, It is the factory stock, When I ordered it It was pictured with the other stuck, But I am very happy to have the one I got!

Thanks guys!
Cool, thanks for answering those questions.

I have to say, that rifle makes me want to dip into my gun slush fund.
I just got the gun myself and threw on some Vortex glass. I made a 120 a max load with 39 grains of varget to try her out. Can't wait....
You should like it KingMedicine,

Tim the student, That is cheaper than what I paid at the same site a few weeks a go!!!!
