By the way, this gun is a SWEET shooter.
Don't recommend Magtech when shooting indoors, though. Too SMOKY.

Is that your 357 Mountain revolver that you built up? Is that pencil barrel from a model 64 38 special.

Yep my Kframe Mt gun, It has a barrel that would have been for a 64 and has 38 spec on the side but the frame and cylinder are 357, It shoots 357 real well.

Did you round butt the frame yourself or did it come that way on the donor Model 65?

I have a 65-2, square butt with a 4" heavy barrel that I might turn into a project gun. I am thinking round butt conversion and cutting the barrel down to the partial ejector shroud. Is that shroud even needed?
