Well, after a wait of nearly 3 years, I picked up my new De Lisle this week.

The rifle is a replica of a Sterling built Enfield kept at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. The gunsmith who built it was given exclusive access to the original rifle in order to take measurements etc.

First chance I'll get to shoot it is on Monday icon_smile_cool.gif

Rifle is built on a BSA SMLE action. (pictures are flip-flopped as I'd held my Nokia N85 the wrong way up, its not got a LH bolt )

This is my 2nd suppressed rifle, the other is my AMSD .50BMG with a Reflex T16.

WOW! Nice rifles.

I'd love to hear how the De lisle shoots, range/accuracy.

We can order them here also, a reproduction of the original

Fantastic - superb - incredible. Three years wait but worth it twice over to win the national lottery !! Congrats !!!!

Got to ask .. is your gunsmith a close relative of the queen? Getting in there is harder than getting into Fort Knox !!
