I purchased a new Kahr PM9 last weekend, and am thrilled with it so far. I had my doubts about any sort of accuracy with a 9mm DAO autoloader this small, but this one surprised me. I had a Kel Tec P3AT, but I would do well to even hit an 8.5" X 11" target at 10 yards. I sold the Kel Tec and researched other options, and finally arrived at the PM9.
I shot 100 rounds of 115 grain WWB through it today, and there were no malfunctions of any kind. Prior to any actual shooting, I did clean, lube, and cycle the slide several hundred times this past week, then removed the plastic shavings, and re-lubed it with CLP. Once I became accustomed to the trigger, I could easily shoot all 6 rounds (I only had the 6 round mag with me) into one ragged hole at 10 yards. It was hitting a little low with the 115 grain ammo, but I will head out again in a couple of days with some 124 grain ammunition to see if it will bring the point of impact up a little.
I am very pleased so far, and I would definitely recommend this little pocket rocket to anyone needing a weapon in this size class. Will let you guys know how it does on my next outing!
