I built this unregulated .25 caliber side lever (CustomAir, Airgunbuy) Marauder up from mostly leftovers from another MRod project and aftermarket and some used purchases and a few calls with appropriate begging to Crosman to sell me the remaining bits. It currently is tuned for 24 shots at 54 fpe average with JSB 34 grain pellets:

The Bushnell scopes ;), well, they are quite decent actually for the purpose and I got four of them on the closeout table for $30 each at Academy a couple of years ago.

Merry Christmas and a great new year to all who take the High Road.

Pretty nice lumber in that rifle too. Nice job
Thanks. The wooden stocks are heavy but look okay. I really would like to get another Benjamin synthetic stock, they are over a pound lighter. And then camo dip or paint it.

The stock was really very dry. I took some Krylon black spray can paint and sprayed it on a rag damp with mineral spirits and rubbed it in to the stock to try and pick the grain up. Then I sprayed it with semigloss poly. I cannot recall if I knocked it down a little with 0000 steel wool or not. This rifle weighs 8.8 pounds, charged, with scope and bipod installed. Not too bad.
