Yeasterday I stumbled upon this Norinco 84s-3A and decided I needed to adopt her. Price was a little hefty at $725 so I had to put a couple guns on consignment in order to justify spending the money but I couldn't resist. It came with a 30 and 10 round mag, two cleaning kits, a sling. The gun looks practically unfired, the bore is mirror bright and inside and out it is as clean as any new gun I've ever bought.

Its funny a few weeks ago I picked up an Norinco 84s-1 underfolder from the same shop www.thehighroad.us/showthread.php?t=399696:D

Here are some pics....

I don't know much about AK's but from what i think i have read i hear those are hard to find. And nice too. Looks like fun, as all guns are.

In a world of $600 WASRs, I'd say you got a great deal. The pistol grip is interesting, sort of like a VZ-58.

Considering what $500 dollar AKM's look like this things a Cadilac! Change the pistol grip out for something less weird.

Congrats. They area all nicely built . Your investment on that will increase as its no longer imported for a long time.

Its a irony to think most Chinese products are shunned by most people but the AKs they made are very much sought after.

I like your underfolder 84S better. Something about wood on an AK...

Yeah I really love the wood on the underfolder also. Maybe at some point I'll buy some wood furniture for this one as well.

Very nice, good pickup. If i had more money, id have grabbed it as well. Infact, if i had more money i could never walk into the gun shop as id ALWAYS walk out with something.

gun store here [long island new york] actually had a nice ak when i went in on saturday.

Hungarian underfolder from 91. BNIB, unfired. 1850.

Holy **** if i had alot of money it would have walked out with me. nicest ak ive ever seen in new york.

Yeah, the way I see it I'll never loose money on the deal, I could probably turn it around right now on gunbroker for a good bit more than I paid for it. Most of the 84s Norinco's I see now are selling in the four digits.
