I'm going to purchase a new S&W revolver. Problem is I can't decide between the two I've narrowed it down to. Both share the same price of $399, and with my limited budget, I can only afford one.
Options are:
A) NIB 642-2. It would be the only gun I have that I am able to conceal well. I'm looking to get my permit soon and will need a gun that I can carry. I have shot one and had no problems. I've also done a lot of research, including reading through both of the 642 threads here. Would be used for carry as well as some range fun.
B) LNIB 19-8. I don't really have much knowledge of the model 19, other than the fact that I like it for some reason... I've never shot one, but I can't imagine it would be a problem. The specimen is in fine condition and caught my eye at the store. It would be nice to have a revolver that could chamber both .357 and .38. Probably would not be able to conceal this one, though. This would most likely be a range/home defense gun only.
So which would you choose?
