Had a hankering for a new gun... Traded a Taurus 24/7 G2 .40 cal. DA/SA 15+1 straight up for this...

A 1976 Ruger Colorado centennial/US bicentennial engraved single six .22lr/.22wmr with a custom made holster

Got lucky- saw this on armslist and contacted the fellow who lived just a couple of hours away. Just so happens he was looking for a high capacity pistol in this price range and caliber. We used bills of sale to record the trade and checked each other's credentials carefully--- so it was a pleasant deal. We each traveled about an hour to execute the trade.

That striker fired 24/7 G2 Taurus was a fully featured gun-- with extra backstraps to customize the fit, two mags, mag loader, full DA/SA mode with ambi decocker and safety.

I have the sister to that gun--- a 12+1 hammer fired Taurus PT845 with decocker and enjoy that full size .45 cal.

I knew Ruger made good quality guns--- I have a SR1911 and SR22... But no Ruger revolvers until now.

Take it squirrel hunting. Great fun and good eats.

This may be the first revolver I've seen where I actually like the engraving. It suits the gun well. I like the blue.
