Here's my vintage Charter Arms Bulldog .44.
Just got it back from the gunsmith because the cylinder to forcing cone gap was pretty tight, and the gun was binding up. Anyway, the gunsmith fixed it and liked the gun enough that he offered to purchase it from me. The gun is tight and appears to have been fired very little.
This gun is lighter than my new .44 Bulldog Pug (19 ounces vs 21 ounces), and the recoil is noticeably more "brisk". I purchased this gun with the Pachmayr Compac grips on it, but swapped on some correct wood grips for the pictures.
I've been after one of these older Bulldogs for quite some time, and am happy that I found one. BTW, this particular Bulldog dates to about the early to mid 80s and was made in Charter's Stratford, CT factory.
