I've long wanted a comfortable 9mm for range / target shooting and a small 380 for pocket carry. Today I finally got my wish, went after work to the gun shop and landed on these beauties!!!

That XD will be surprisingly accurate for a poly DA only pistol. I was impressed when I played with one. It left a Glocophite who shot it talking to himself and hating his 99 Glocks. LOL

It's an XDm, which is a little different than an XD. What is the barrel length?
You won't be disappointed with it. I've had thousands of rounds through my XD 9mm subcompact and my XDm 9mm 5.25 with no problems except those caused by the floor/trigger interface

So it's the competition model, then? I could barely see the rear sight which looked like it was adjustable, but I couldn't see the red fibre optic on the front. I see that they are only giving you two magazines. Mine came with three, plus I bought three more (for IPSC & IDPA). Unfortunately, I had to have the mags blocked to only accept 10 rounds. I shoot in the production gun division which only allows 10, so it really doesn't affect me except knowing it could hold 19

Crucial difference is XD and XDm magazines do not interchange except in .45ACP models.
So you will need to be sure to get 9mm XDm mags if you want more.
I'm waiting for the CW380 to come out, just can't pay that much for a 380. despite the fact I love and carry my PM40 every day.
