My newest purchase. CZ75 SA

I just got it before the holidays (also thanks to holiday season sale, I have no time to go to range and test this baby out yet). It's like new, low round count, and came with all stock iteams (box, paper, brush) but no stock mag (last owner got screwed by his dealer).

I'm a BHP fan, and have been wanting another 9mm SA pistol to go with my BHP. So when a decent deal come across, I jump on the gun.

anyway here is my new toy:




I can't wait to test this gun out. In dry fire, the SA trigger aren't bad at all. Much better compare to CZ75B or BD that I shot before.

The CZ75SA is one I've been considering for a while. The trigger and thumb safety look like an improvement over the standard B for those with short fingers (I'm one).

Congrats. They are really nice. I've been back and forth on getting one, but I already have a Witness Elite Match which is very similar. Still may end up with one. I'm always looking for really nice triggers.

I think you'll like the CZ. I too, own (and carry) a BHP. I bought the "B" model for the additional option of carrying in the half-cocked position. I have found the accuracy to be pretty much equal to the BHP. You will find that the CZ is a little more bulky than the Browning. Consequetly, holsters that fit the BHP will not usually fit the CZ. Fortunately, there are quality holsters available in many configurations for the CZ. You may have to hunt for them though.

I replaced the plastic grips with some Hogue rose wood checkered grips because I like wood and they are thinner than the original plastic. For aesthetics, I polished my CZ's barrel because it comes with a cruddy looking coating on it that is a residual from the hardening process. So far, I've put about 500 rounds through the gun with no issues. As I said, it is very accurate and seems to not be particular about what ammo you feed it. The trigger is not as bad as I expected. It started out gritty, but is smoothing out with use. Note: I stripped my gun and completely cleaned the action and re-lubed before going to the range. The trigger is definitely not a match quality, but it is acceptable for my use. I was considering having an action job done on the gun, but I think I'll hold off for now. BHP triggers are no great shakes either, at least until the mag safety is removed. Fortunately, the CZ doesn't come with one of those.

Although prices on CZ's have crept up in the past couple of years, I think they are still a real bargain for those of us who prefer metal guns over polymer.

Probably one of the best lookin' 9mm's on the market. Incredible shooters to. Add some CZ Coco-bolo grips and you won't be able to stop starin' at it.

Be aware that your SA will not fit in molded holsters for the 75B. I found this out the hard way, and spent a bunch of money on rigs I couldn't use, because I am like that.
The gun will likely outshoot you. Mine did, and it was like magic how accurate the things are, and how easy they are to shoot well.
I sold mine here, but MAN! it was a great pistol.
I found mine a tad heavy for CCW, which is what I bought it for. If I were competing, or whatever, I would have kept it.

I had a CZ-USA custom .40 some years ago.

It would keep up with my CZ-USA custom 97B on most days.
Clover-leaf (off-hand) groups with the 97B, but snake-eyes groups
with the 75SA. Even wolf ammo was scary accurate in that gun.



The 75SA serves most people well as a Range gun, but I know that a few carry
them for defense.
