Thought I'd post a few pics of my recently cerakoted Ruger SP101. I had it done in sniper gray and graphite black. I'm really happy with the way it came out.

Looks good. That gun is all business.

I was thinking about getting an old S&W Model 59 done that way.

Let us know how the Cerakote holds up.

Looks like it is already chipping down by where the cylnder arm folds open.

just for something different?

I'm just not a fan of all stainless guns really, and I had a free cerakote job at a local store here in Boise.

I just looked at the bottom of the cylinder crane where it looks to be chipped in the photo. It was just oil residue from when I cleaned it. It wiped right off.

I have shot 50 rounds through it so far. .357 mag ammo is really hard to find right now.

I like the new look as well. Definitely gives it a hard, no nonsence appearance.

I'd love to hear back on how well the finish on the breech face and cylinder wears over time - probably my biggest reason for not 'coating a revolver is due to concerns that the finish would wear poorly in those areas....

Interesting. Looks like a great, low maintainence, all business revolver. I love guns like that.

Looks great to me. I'd use different grips for carry but that gun is all business the way it is.
