I own a Ruger P95DC and have been very happy with it so far. Today after a range session I field stripped and cleaned the gun which I have done many times before but this time I noticed something I have never noticed before. After I put it back together I cocked it and while the hammer was back it felt loose. It makes a rattling noise when you move the gun around. There is a slight movement of the slide, i've never noticed it like this before. It's only when the hammer is back, when it's down there is absolutely no movement what so ever. I can push the slide with my fingers and there is a slight movement back and forth which is causing it to feel loose and make the rattling noise. Maybe about a millimeter or so of loose give. The trigger feels a lot looser when it's cocked as well.
I took it apart and put it back together again 4 or 5 times and it's still doing it. My question is does anyone else who owns a P95DC experience this same rattle?
Thanks for any help, it's much appreciated.
