My short course bolt gun transformation of a Remington 700-SA Varmint Synthetic in .223-Rem. By today’s standards semi-obsolescence compared to the AR series rifles. Modifications:

1.) Rebarreled to 8” twist
2.) Notched the receiver and mounted of a clip slot block
3.) Modified the standard bolt handle to one extended
4.) Modified the stock to except RPA rear sight
5) Receiver modified for rear sight mounting
6.) Stock modified for accessory rail
7.) Stock modified for adjustable butt plate
8.) RPA rear sight
9) Tiger front sight & mounting

Thats very nice, is there anyway toget a shot of you slinged up? Just curious to know how you would position your body with a nomal stock.

I don’t have pictures showing myself in shooting positions.

Where is the bayonet lug?
That’s what duct tape is for. :) I'll dig up some target pics.:uhoh:;)

How did you mount the hand stop?
The accessory rail is made be Mo’s. The OEM synthetic stock I believe is an HSP. I milled a slot to fit the rail. The stock in section has a metal skeleton. The skeleton was drilled & taped for machine screws and the accessory rail was secured in place with countersunk screws.

Also, what's the lever action in the top of the photo
