Ok fellas, this was brutal. I am a bit of a "serial" gun shopper any way, but all of your pics and great suggestions sent me reeling into "i want that...and that" hell!!! Thanks a lot!!!! and actually i mean that. here is what i have decided on : a Ruger Number 1 Light Sporter in .25-06. The one i bought, or am buying, has a great stick of wood on it and i think i made a good choice. Thanks again for all of the great suggestions...I know she will be thrilled!!! As soon as i get it home ill take pics.
