I have been looking for a bayonet for my 1940 K. Kale Turkish Mauser lately and thought I found one today at the pawn shop. The guy there is fairly knowledgeable but he had no idea what it was. I took a gamble... but unfortunately, no dice.
Anybody know what it is? The locking lug seems to fit perfect, and the barrel fits in the hole just fine, but as you can see in the picture things just don't line up.
Is it for an earlier Turk Mauser maybe?
Any Ideas?
I have no use for it, so if you are interested I would trade for a correct bayonet for my Turkish Mauser or something else cool.
