Myth Busting Residual Lube Affect On Neck Tension / Bullet Setback

Man this is a lot more complicated than I would have expected. (But then I haven't reloaded for a rifle very often.) I usually just spray down cleaned handgun cases with Midway spray lube, then wash that off with hot soapy water and then wait a couple of days to dry out. If in a hurry I'll dry the cases in a 200F oven but that discolors the brass and I'm a cranky old coot about that.
