I have a N.R Davis and Sons "A-JAX" side-by-side 12ga. This was my great-grampas gun so it is pretty old. I'm in my late teens lo it is not like it's really that old. It is in really good shape exept for the forearm is pretty shakey but not like it's gonna fall off. Can you tell me about the company, how much it is worth, and when they were produced.

I can't help with the value, but NR Davis & Sons were in business from 1853 until WW1, when they were bought out by Warner Arms.
It is less fancy and does not have exposed hammers. It also says "Davis Warner Co." so mabey it is the newer one.
