I have an older NAA Mini Magnum that does not have safety notches cut into the cylinder. I'm thinking about sending the gun into NAA for an updated cylinder. My only hesitation revolves around modifying a potential collectable. Do any of our collectors know if these older models are sought after? I'm guessing that these mass produced guns were made in enough quantity that examples are easy to find, but I could be wrong.
For me this gun is a cool little range toy. I don't think I'll ever carry it as a defensive weapon, but you never know. While I don't necessarily need the upgrade for safety purposes, I'd like having the feature just in case.
Would I be ruining a potential collectable by upgrading the safety feature?
