naa pug?

I'm considering picking up an naa pug as somthing I can carry in my pocket when nothing else is an option, this a good idea or a waste of my money in which case bite the bullet and just use somthing I already have?

I carry a NAA 22 Mag all the time, sometimes as a BUG, sometimes as the only thing. I have looked at the Pug, but it does not seem to offer anything over the regular NAA. Just a little different look and feel. If you are looking at these then get one with a 22. second cylinder to do with the 22 mag. Cheaper to practice.
Pug does look kinda cute.....

I carry my my Pug everyday as BUG and I love it. I am much more confident in it's reliability than I am with ANY of the midget autos on the market.

very true, well if I didn't get the pug I'd still ofcourse carry somthing, it just would take more work to conceal, but by the sound of things it may not be a bad investment as you all seem to think very high of them. I was alittle uncertain of the single action but I can just take it out to the range and get the hang of it.

I have the...

.......NAA 1 5/8 Mini Magnum in .22 mag and love it! Once you learn how to point it ( the sites are sort of a joke ), you can dance a can at seven to ten yards. I chose the .22 mag version because it's a little bigger to grip. To this day, I wish I chose the Widow for its little bit of extra barrel. So I suggest you go for the longest barrel you can for a little more accuracy and a little more velocity. The holster grip is great too. I went thru a whole bunch of grips till I tried it. It clips in my pocket like a multi-tool or in my boot as a BUG and provides a full sized grip that doubles as a safe holster. With a little practice you can even flick it open like a Buck knife.

i have a .22mag NAA mini, i have yet to carry it for social purposes because in the winter even down here when its farly warm some days i can still tote a few other more potent guns....now if i go to the beach it will accompany my kel-tec 3at.

Like you said, "when circumstances dictate", I carry the NAA .22mag with the folding handle.

Better than a set of car keys in my fist.

I picked up a new Pug yesterday. From the moment I saw the advertising card that arriving in some mail I got, I knew I had to have one. This was the first and only one I've seen in person, and I frequent a LOT of gunstores.

FYI, I already have a 1 5/8" bbl NAA Magnum, so I'm perfectly aware of the Mini's abilities and their limitations.

I have several NAA Mini's and like the new NAA PUG 1" .22Mag , but since the difference in physical size between the two is very small from a concealment point of view, I prefer my NAA Black Widow .22LR / .22Mag for the CCW BUG role due to the Black Widow's 2 inch barrel.

I have had my PUG for almost 3 months now, and love it. So does everyone else who has shot it. Wife and daughter want one for their purse. Not my choice for a gunfight, but almost invisible from concealment standpoint and adequate to allow me the chance to get to the truck...

No scoop on the NAA PUG, but I do have a NAA .22 WMR with 1-1/8" barrel;
used as a BUG, for my BUG (Kel-Tec P3AT .380 auto)~!

I think that people underestimate the .22 mag round. It penetrates nearly as deeply as my .40, and at almost 1,000 fps out of NAA's short barrels, it is quite the contender, in my opinion. I've carried an NAA 1 5/8" mag as a BUG a lot, and the Pug was so cool looking, I just had to have it. Florida, lots of thin clothes, concealment is a major issue, but not for NAA.
