Name that powder!

Pour it on your plant or yard and watch it grow If it is a factory load like you say then I'm guessing it is a non canister powder which means most of us have no idea what it is

If it were a reload I would sat H110/W296 because it's a 100gr 30 Carbine with a 100gr bullet and a slightly light charge of 13.3gr of that powder. H110 was specifically designed for loading the 30 Carbine and is a ball powder like the one shown in the picture.

I would guess since it's from a commercial loader that powder is probably WC820 which would explain the charge weight being below the Hodgdon data on their site. That's my rather long guess...

I acquired 1000 'defect' rounds for 100$.

These rounds have some issues with the projectiles. I've pulled the bullets (which are toast) and plan on reloading them using the same bullet weight with the same charge of the same powder.

Kinda like making 'Mexican Match' ammo.
But I guess it more 'Polish Military' ammo.

That powder looks like wc844, TAC, Acc2230, H335, W748, shall I go on? You will not ID powder by appearance only.

You don’t know if the powder or the charge is correct or not, these are defective rounds and may have more than 1 defect. I would not do it, you might get away with it, but is it really worth the risk?

A-Merc is not a company I would trust.
