I'm still waiting on an order placed on June 11. My last 2 emails have gone unanswered.

NBC

My last order with NBC was a PITA. I never did get all the bullets I ordered. I honestly can't believe that they are still in business. I will never use them again.

Best regards.

LaserCast is great, but I have found excellent cast bullets that are very competitive in price @ www.northeastbullet.com
Shipping is included in their price. Brinnell hardness is 19 and the bullets are molycoted to further reduce leading as well as your exposure to lead. 19 is actually plenty high enough. Most casters go to 18. LaserCast bullets are very hard at 26 Brinnell. I tried National Bullets and was very disatisfied. I liked the idea of a copper coating, but bullet diameters had too much variance and they weren't concentric. I e-mailed them and got a pretty bogus response about the concenticity issue. I was born at night, but not last night!;)

Pennbullets.com is another fine supplier--the owner knows shooting and does his jobs (both casting bullets and supplying them reliably) well.

I am also waiting on an order I placed back in April. I called several times, and each time they advised it was in mail. I have since changed suppliers. I used to buy all my bullets there, but now I advise against it as others have. Tru Cast has some good stuff at a decent price.

I have tried NBC products and found them to be mixed quality. I shoot 38-55 and 45-70 and had some good bullets and some BAD bullets in the same order. I now use Lazer Cast and Penn, they are much better in quality and they do ship.

My last order was a few months back, but I payed $46 for 1000 .452 200 gr. RNFPs. If you call them, they will provide you with a sample pack of their excellent bullets and there was No Charge for the 50 I received.;)

I ordered 2000 rounds of 9mm off of n.bc. over two months ago. They charged my credit card two days after placing my order. Finally I canceled my order and was promised a refund, three weeks later still no credit to my account. N.B.C. SUCKS!:fire: Go to glock talk, calibar corner, search nbc, whole lot of unhappy people there.

Do not buy from National Bullet

I am also having problems with National Bullet. I made an order in May and have yet to recieve it. Their excuse was a supplier was out of stock on some of the bullets. I have emailed and called them at least 10 times, each time they promised to refund my money. They have yet to refund my money.

I too, have had bad luck with NBC. I ordered 1000 bullets and 1000 pcs. of Starline brass, after two months of having them tell me it was in the mail, or would ship "Monday", I asked them to cancel my order and issue a credit to my card. They chardged my card the day I ordered. They never issued the credit and now I have to dispute the charges with my card company. They'll probably get my money back, but I will never order from them again and warn others against ordering.:fire:

I went round and round with them about an order placed on June 10th. I finally got tired of broken promises and had my credit card company reverse the charges. Fool me once...

Any better

It's now 7 or 8 months since this thread cooled off... Is NBC any better now, or are you guys still waiting on orders? Has it improved? Their price is good, but I am tired of people taking my money and not giving it back when it isn't right.

Thanks.

Any companies out there that reloads used brass like National Bullet.?
I don't reload myself, so send in my brass and have them loaded up and shipped back to me. So far the only guys I can find doing that are National Bullet, but would like to find an alternative source.

wow thats a hefty penny to spend. you really should look into reloading. what caliber do you shoot. you can save some cash and still have your own fireformed cases. Same time you will really learn what works and what does not. So many benefits.

As for national bullet. i wrote the company a few weeks ago they said they are back on track. i was luckily to get a box of 500 a month ago. this weekend i took my son with me shooting. he was shooting my 30-30. with 170 grain speer. Then i pulled the box of national bullet out. Gave it to him. he started shooting them. Then he stopped and started to look at the bullets. He then looked at me and said where did you get this. i told him. he was really impressed. Shot the whole box 50 rounds. When we were done he said we need to get some more of that.

the mix of national bullet 165 grain and trail boss 8 grains is the perfect load for 30-30. wow what a combination.

I know the smart thing would be to load my own, but I'm not really interested in it. Would rather send my 38spl brass off and have someone else load em up as semi and wad cutters for me.

Believe me, stay away from National Bullet. Ken is the owner. He took me for over $350 plus brand new brass I purchased and sent to him for loading. I'm presently in contact with the Ohio AG and NRA. This company is practicing internet fraud and needs to be shut down.
