I voted No. (There wasn't a "Hell, No!" option, unfortunately.)
I really, really fear and dread something like this.
We're almost there now.
People have no clue how close we are to it, with the driver's license *already* being used as a de facto national I.D. card/internal passport by practically everyone.
The rest demand a Social Security number, or even the actual SSN *card*. You must produce the latter to be hired for *any* straight job now, since Clinton rammed that law through in the mid-1990s in the name of tracking down "deadbeat dads."
When I renewed my car insurance a few months ago (I dwell in a mandatory insurance state), they demanded to see my Socialist Slave Number card -- in the name of the Patriot Act and fighting terrorism, I kid you not.
Yeah, I'm sure a terrorist really wants to make sure his car or truck is adequately insured before he loads it with explosives and drives it into a building's underground parking garage.
Of course, none of this would mean diddly if there weren't hundreds of thousands ready and willing to enforce it against American citizens.
