Came across this link, and thought I'd share it. The first part is a bit of the political stuff, but the meat of this story is about an incredible feat of courage by a Marine named Brian Chontosh.

Story

The guy used up 5 different weapons. His M16, Beretta, 2 dead guys' AK's, and an RPG.

"The man who will go where his colors go, without asking, who will fight a phantom foe in the jungle and mountain range, without counting, and who will suffer and die in the midst of incredible hardship, without complaint, is still what he has always been, from Imperial Rome to sceptered Britain to democratic America. He is the stuff of which legions are made...He has been called United States Marine." - T.E. Fehrenbach

Cool. Sounds like a scene out of a movie where one good guy takes on a bunch of bad guys and still comes out on top, even though this real life hero had some help from the rest of his men. I respect him greatly for what he did.

He then directed his driver into the enemy trench, where he exited his vehicle and began to clear the trench with an M16A2 service rifle and 9 millimeter pistol.

That must be a misprint. I'm sure he must have been using a .45 caliber 1911 to perform such an extraordinary act of bravery.

9mm Beretta -- yeah, right.
