ND Dream

I had a dream last night that I had a negligent discharge. I was sitting in my kitchen table handling my .357, and I shot the ceiling.

In the dream, I remember wondering if I could sand out and paint the damage before my wife got home The damage was absurdly minimal -- just a discolored dent.

But I've been a tad upset and ashamed today -- like it really happened. In the dream, I broke at least two of The Rules (did not treat like loaded and finger on trigger). I have to keep telling myself, "It was just a dream. It was just a dream. It was just a dream." Weird.
