I have a weird thing with my sleeping that I only remember one of my dreams once a year, maybe once every other year. Its kinda nice in a way not having those oddball dreams, but the ones I do remember tend to be.... odd. Last night I had a doozy of a dream about a negligent discharge on my part.

I was wandering the woods around England (?) and came across an old WWII Spitfire that had crash landed and the pilot was still in the cockpit (obviously long dead and decayed) I was admiring how cool it was and wondering how it had avoided being found for 60 years when I noticed a building nearby.

It was a Nazi building. I know, it makes no sense it would be there, but hey, its a dream. I was about crapping my pants when I saw it, and the dusty moss covered flag by its entrance. So I went inside.

Inside was a warehouse with crates after crates of WWII Nazi ammo. 8MM, Kurtz, literally millions of rounds. I was searching some lockers and found some odd K98's, they had barrels that would pivot out of the way when the bolt was not locked in

So I pick up the rifle, aim it away to dry fire, and BANG! In my dream I didn't check the chamber, and didn't check downrange.

So then I realize there is a guy standing near a group of people, all wearing red shirts, far away at the end of the warehouse and he looks pissed. So I go over there and he starts chewing me a new one for almost shooting him. I could see where I had shot the metal railing that he was standing by.

Then he starts yelling at me that this is a museum, and i had wandered into the back of it by accident. :banghead: I remember thinking in my dream "well damn, I was thinking I had just found a treasure trove of untold priceless un-issued weapons and ammo."

You didn't happen to watch the Twilight Zone marathon on the SciFi channel, did you? Actually, I'm serious. There were a couple of episodes along the very lines you dreamed about.

heck that's nothing. I dreamed about shooting my neighbor with a shotgun. From what I remember it was justified.

Well I used to be a huge fan of the Twilight Zone years back, but I haven't seen an episode in probably 15 years or more.

Man that brings back some memories, gotta go see if I can find me some old T.Z. episodes or even some Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Both fantastic series with some mind trips in them. Too bad they don't make series like that anymore.
