I've got an M16 machine gun and a YHM .223 suppressor I can bring if anyone wants to shoot it. Also a Walther P22 and my prototype .22lr suppressor. Just bring ammo.

OK. Saturday June 20 at the Ottawa Sportsmen's Club in Pelkie, outside Baraga on M38.
Festivities begin at one in the afternoon and go till we get tired and hungry, or early evening (whichever comes first).
We'll have a variety of guns bringing 9mm and .45ACP ammo would be a good idea.

My wife will bring supper down. Feel free to bring snacks, desserts, and stuff to drink.
Of course, no alcohol at the range.

I will bring my M16 with suppressor and my P22 with prototype suppressor. Bring your own ammo to shoot the machine gun. No Wolf, Silver Bear or other shady ammo. I will also bring as much 9mm, 40, 45, 223 as we can. You can buy there in person if anyone is short on ammo.

Redneckdan and I are probably going to carpool. I don't know many shooters up here really. At least not as addicted as I am.

Definitely show up, Supertac45. I've wanted to meet you. I go as Tubby45 on Defensive Carry. See ya there!

I was thinking this Sat. which would have really been pushing it since I'm off Thur. and Fri. A whole week away and I can probably swing something.

Just got back a half hour ago. I had a blast. Couple interesting autos at the shoot. Everything went well, no accidents. I enjoyed it very much. Definitely want to do this again soon.

Freakshow10mm and Redneck Dan and me showed up from the THR group.
It would have been great if some more folks from here could have made it.

I had family and friends there too, including a guy I shot with 20 years ago and have only seen once or twice since. He and his wife just happened to be in the area and were able to drop in and shoot.

The shoot was also my birthday celebration. My wife throws a party at the range for me every year (almost) complete with snacks in the midafternoon and dinner. This year we had fine weather (one year it threatened rain all the time we shot but held off until we started to eat supper). This year it was blue skies, a bit of a breeze, and high seventies or low eighties for temps.

Since I know some dealers and C&R license holders we had some exotic guns there. We were able to shoot steel plates with one shooter with a revolver or pistol and another with a subgun. It wasn't always the subgunner who cleared his plates and took down the stop plate first either. A few folks got to shoot subguns and some other NFA guns for the first time.
The famous "30 round grin" was in evidence quite frequently.
Most common comment after firing a subgun?
"I like it!"

I am tired and resting up a lot today, but it was worth it.
