As to annealing, Hornady states it is not necessary until after 8 or so firings and then after the same amount of reloads.

Lyman states to not anneal at all. as the cases will be near the end use.
For some applications that is fine, others not so much. I can get 8 to 12+ firings on .223 brass before I lose them to loose primer pockets, no annealing at all. For informal shooting, or less than optimal accuracy/consistent ES/SD numbers, that's fine.

I have proven to myself I can anneal my 6 Dasher cases every other time and be fine, but even though I track the number of firings on cases, it's just easier to anneal every time.

Same for me with Hornady 6 creed, Lapua 6BR/Dasher, Hornady 243win, Lapua Palma necked to 243win or 7-08 and the same blown to 243AI... But...

Same.
