Back in 2008, I purchased a Taurus MilPro .45 as a concealed carry weapon. An excellent weapon, I would recommend it (and have) as an in expensive and reliable sidearm. However, unless I wear super baggy shirts, or a jacket (I'm in Alabama, mind you) the handle tends to poke a little, and I am very self conscious of broadcasting that I have a gun on me . I carry IWB (front or strong side) w a Don Hume RH holster.
I am six foot two weighing in at 185. My caliber limitations are 9mm, .40, and .45, and I hesitate on buying .380. My front runner in carry choices are the Ruger sr9c & the SA-XD9 sub. I carry a SA-XD45 tactical on the job, so my experience leans toward the springers.
Holster suggestions for these also welcome
