I collect "boys rifles" and I have an old Stevens Marksman that has the end of the lever-trigger guard broken and missing. Does anyone suggest where I might find a replacement?....Thanks

Psliger, shoot me a pm or e-mail. I have a bin full of marksman parts. Let me know what all you need and I'll dig it up for you.

Guy, you are correct. I dug mine out of the storage.
The lever on my Marksman model 12 does not "drop the block', It simply breaks the bbl down to load it. It is the lever shown on the following page:

http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=4395

If you follow the curve of the lever at the first downward curve past the trigger, it is broken off there and missing the rest of it.

I hope that you can find me one, if so, how much?
...and thanks for your help.

Soon as I find it, free. It's just sitting collecting dust/rust at the moment. Just take a look at the picture I emailed you of the marksman i pulled out of the bin looking yesterday...:scrutiny:

Trust me, sending it to you for free would be saving it.

Hey Guy, I have one or two that look like that. To a pure gun "Nut" they still look good!
I hope that you can find the part...the old Marksman would love it!
Paul

It's around the shop somewhere. I know I've seen it several times in the thirteen years since I cannibalized it.

Not as of yet. I know it is somewhere in the shop, I remember having it out about a year ago when I was contemplating putting together a half a$$ed .25acp marksman. My course load is heavy this semester so I'm running like a chicken with my head cut off. I have found the box with the hammer and mainspring in it, so I'm getting closer.

Stevens Marksman lever

Guy, I feel like I may be making a nuisance of myself, but you suggested that I keep reminding you about the Stevens Marksman lever.....Paul

I'm making a trip to the shop this weekend to turn a firing pin for a rolling block. I'll tear it apart, I know it's there.

Little late, but I found it mixed in with a bunch of Ruger parts....
