Hello All,
Someone may have asked this before, but thought I should ask anyways. I live near Youngstown OH, and basically I've been wanting to know the following: 1. I would really like to try to get into competition of some sort -whether it's IDPA, PPC, 3 gun (ideally), or at the very least a club that I could get involved with that has matches that would help me improve "real life" shooting skills. Does anyone know of a place like that? I currently have only 2 places to shoot, a farm in Rogers OH, and the outdoor sight-in range run by the Ohio DNR in Farmington, OH. These provide a place to shoot, but not very versatile. You can't do much moving around or any type of "shoot and move" techniques at the ODNR range, at least not without making the great R.O.'s really mad at you. The farm is okay, but again it has it's own limitations, have to set up a target(s) everytime and hope that the grass isn't too high to see the target. Anyways if anyone has any ideas or places that they go to that they really enjoy please let me know. I wanted to check out Youngstown Rifle and Pistol club, but I didn't get much feedback on what it takes to join etc. Thanks for all your help/suggestions! ~Jeff
p.s. anyone who wants to get together to go shooting please let me know, it's always more fun to hang out with other like-minded individuals rather than just going shooting by yourself.
