I have stepped into the world of suppressors. Being an AR-15 guy I am learning the joys of gas blowback.

I am not currently pleased with the current available products to "eliminate" this. As in they help, but do not fix the problem. The best product I have found (which isn't a charging handle) eliminates the blowback by 25%-50%. My prototype used in cunjunction with the other product eliminated 100% blowback. These aren't scientific numbers, just based off of how dirty my glasses are and how much my eyes are watering. This was on a 16" midlength BCM upper with a YHM suppressor. I still have more tests to do with running my prototype solo, and on a suppressed SBR, and suppressed 16" AR-10, which have been my worst offenders.

I think I have a better idea. I cannot go into details yet. So far everyone that has tried my prototype insists I get a patent. There is room for improvement, but I believe I am close.

What I am needing now is unfinished charging handles to do final machining on. I am not removing a lot of metal, I just need serrations. I want good ones. The stronger the better. If my name is on it, I am not going to release a sub-par product for beta testing.

The other thing I need is, who to send the charging handles to be finshed. I want at least milspec for now, and will explore the more exotic finishes if this is a success.

Thank you for your time.

Right now I am looking for charging handles that just haven't been finished. I may look into making some from billet if what I am doing has a negative effect on the integrity. I am looking to do a 250 serration. I don't want bright cuts in a finished product. I rather get some unfinished, do my mods, and have em hard coat anodized. These have to withstand carbine classes.

Right now I am moving from the "modifying parts in my spare parts box" stage, to the "let's make something presentable" stage. As in giving this to some associates who are not my friends, who are going to run them hard. This is so I can get an unbiased opinion of them, instead of buddies from the range. Who knows they may break em and say they ain't worth a flip.

Yes I have done silicone mod. And yes I have done a real gasbuster. I currently have a AR gasvent which was the product I mentioned earlier. Downside is you give up your forward assist.
