Where can I find or have made a threaded barrel for an Astra Constable .22? I just picked up the gun and I would like to suppress it.

Really?

I thought considering a block/feedramp would need to be built it would take a lot. The barrel of the gun is questionable so I thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone. Can someone refer someone to make me one?

Most companies that manufacture suppressors also offer threading services if they're worth their salt. This will also guarentee that the suppressor will be a perfect fit to the threads.

This is all assuming that you're going to buy a can and not make one...

Yes I will be going the legal route

I thought I was pretty gun knowledge-able until this thread. Would I need to send the factory barrel to a gunsmith in order for him/her to reproduce it, in a longer threaded form? I imagine this would cost in the $150-250 range. I was thinking a gemtech for my first supressor.

The Astra Constable barrel is pressed in from the rear, & pinned into the "block" that is part of the frame.

It is highly unlikely anyone makes a barrel, because the gun has long been out of production, Astra is out of business, and the .22 Constable was never sold in enough numbers to create a demand for after-market barrels, threaded or not.

However, it should be possible to take the barrel out, turn it down 1/8" smaller x 1/2" long at the muzzle, and thread the result for a barrel O.D. diameter adapter that would protrude out of the slide with the can threads on it.

Like this:

That shouldn't present much of a challenge for a gunsmith, but todays labor rates being what they are, it wouldn't be cheap either!

Also, zx12rider, it is perfectly legal to make your own suppressor. By saying "I'm going the legal route," you didn't narrow any choices down. (Of course, you do need to file a Form 1 with the ATF and pay the tax.)

Anyhoo, I would recommend against Gem-Tech. They haven't been at the top of their game lately, and really haven't been very good at all in the last few years compared to other manufacturers. I would recommend an SWR Spectre or an AAC Prodigy.
