Wipe it clean with Isopropyl alcohol. That will kill static as well. The various "static guard" sprays work as well.

I used gun scruber and blasted all parts wiped them down
makeing sure I did not touch with my hands.
I had the worst time loading .223 till I did this...
Oh and the dryer sheet if a deff. Must do.
