Need advice regarding CT firearms laws...

I have the chance to get a Fal, well technicaly its an Imbel STG58.

Now I know FN Fal's are banned on the CT assualt rifle list. So would an Imbal STG58 be CT legal...does anyone in CT have any experiance with this?

I know DSA STG58's are totaly legal, I have seen a number at the local gun shops.

The short answer is "yes" (legal). Do some reading on the a DPS website about the assault weapons ban & buy from a shop....to avoid picking up something that is non-compliant.

Go to Hoffman's, Newington Gun Exchange, jo-jo's etc for the correct answers.
