Hey folks.

Need some advice on a decision I am wanting to make. I currently own a XDS in 9mm and carry it daily. It's been 100% reliable and conceals better than any gun I have ever own. This being said I was never happy with capacity and went on a search for something similar and having to jump to a double stack magazine.

I went out and purchased a Glock 26 Gen 3. I trust the Glock 26 with my life as I know the history and reputation of it. It bumped my carry capacity to 11 rounds. Only problem is it prints really badly with all the holsters I have tried and it just doesn't feel comfortable in my hand like the XDS does.

Recently found out about the Springfield XD-9 Mod 2 and was really impressed with the round count of 14 with flush fit magazine.

Should I trade off the Glock 26 to gain a few more rounds and possibly have a better wearing / feeling gun. Like I said, I love my XDS and would love it if it was going to be similar in carry except for having that double stack factor in the grip.

What would you guys all do or think? Keep the Glock 26 and call it a day or have something that feels more like the XDS and is somewhat similar in style?

Anyone have both the XDS and XD Mod 2 that could weight in with their experience?

Thanks everyone :)

I do have both the XDS and XD mod 2 but don't have the Glock 26,
here is my 2 cents: don't get the XD Mod 2, you will be regretted, mine is sitting in the corner of the safe for several months now, it is too big for conceal carry.

Do you carry spare magazines? If you do I would suggest trying to get over your obsession with capacity.

stop worrying about printing, no one is looking.

Keep what you have and choose the gun that best suits your wardrobe that day.

I'd personally keep the 26, I have an XDS .45 and like it, one of the main reasons is that the trigger is so Glock-like. I'm not super familiar with the Mod2 XD, but if it's got the standard XD series trigger then no thank you.
