need an assist on decoding a headstamp

5.56 03 AD, the first two are fairly obvious,(caliber and date) but don't know who or what "AD" is...

i have been depriming and swaging allot lately i have allot of interesting headstamps, some i know, some i think i know, some i don't. the reason i am curious on this one is i have allot of it and it is harder than hell to deprime, considerably more so than most of the other military crimps. i need a good batch of matching brass to put together for a bolt gun and this is definately the largest matching lot i got.

how about everyone adding there 2 cents on some of the other not so obvious codes, here are a few more i am unsure of... f-c, wp

got allot of "mal" i am assuming malasia(spelling)?, they all got real loose primer pockets, LC i assume is lake city.

cartridgecollectors.org is generally a good resource.

But all of the recent 5.56 we encounter with the AD headstamp was made by PMC under contract to Abu Dhabi. The primer is really tightly crimped. It's hard to pop the spent primer out, and really hard to get a new primer into the pocket. In many cases you can both swage and ream the pocket, and it still won't take a primer.

At least this is my humble experience with AD 5.56.
