We've been collecting Chipmunks for our four grandsons, actually three because my son saved his to give his son (2 1/2 yrs.) We needed one more for my oldest daughter's boys (twins 3 1/2 and one 2).

Last night my youngest daughter Sarah and her husband Jeremy announced that they have a baby on the way in August. Grandpa again!

Now I'm two Chipmunks behind again.

A few prayers for the health of the mother and baby would be appreciated also. Sarah has Multiple Sclerosis. Her and Jeremy are both avid shooters and proponents of RKBA.

Nephew #4 was December 10th. I am 4 Chipmunks behind.:p

MPFreeman and I talked Saturday the 20th at an Christmas party. 2005 the training begins (oldest will be 7). I am nervous and excited. :uhoh:

The advances in prenatal are amazing. I am certain everything will turn out fine.:)

UPDATE...

Just got this email from Sarah:

We just got back from having the ultrasound. It was so much fun and so neat to see a little baby girl. Yep, I said Girl! A little Sadie Catherine Connor! We all thought it was a boy and were calling it a he but she tricked us. At least we're 99% sure it's a girl. The lady reading the ultrasound kept laughing because the baby moved so much she could hardly get a picture. We told her the doctor had the same problem when he tried to find the heartbeat. She is definitely an active one that doesn't like to be poked and proded. She gave me several little kicks and one good knee that Jeremy got to see on the ultrasound screen. They did say that everything looks good, healthy, and right on schedule.

Looks like my four grandsons are going to be joined by a GIRL cousin. She'll be a shooter though, because her mom and dad are.

And it seems I was worrying about nothing. Seems that when a women is pregnant, her MS symptoms go away temporarily. That's what the doctor said, and Sarah said it is true, her shaky hands are steady, at least for now.

(edited for spelling)

Larry,

Glad things are going better with your daughter.

By the way, what are you referring to as Chipmunks? I'm not following you.

Steve

Thanks for the update, Larry. This has been a tough year so far for many, and it's great to hear some good news.

Larry,
My daughter Laura was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and you absolutely correct, at least in Laura's case, that the MS symptons do not manifest themselves during pregnancy (She has 2 fine sons, 6 and 8 - 1 Red Ryder BB gun and 1 Stevens Crack Shot). we all thought she had been misdiagnosed but the symptons return after delivery.God's Blessings on you all. If you or your daughter wish to correspond with my daughter (who has really been through the mill with MS and knows the ropes), please send me a private e-mail which should be l;isted under "Profile". Quantrill

I saw a couple of Chipmunks (new) at a gun show recently. They wanted $175 for each of them. Seemed WAY high to me. But with the liability factor being the major cost component these days, I guess it's hard to sell any firearm for under $150. Too bad. :(

Congrats on the soon to be new one. They cost even more! :neener:
