Soon to begin .380ACP reloading for two Bersa Thunders.
Help needed in determining which bullets to buy for target/range use and best sources for them. FMJ, JHP, Lead RN, etc.

Thanks in advance.

I buy mostly from RMR. Very uniform, better than Nosler (consistency). I like jacketed RN for range work. Easy to clean and Inexpensive. Today $99thou. See Docendo link above.

I used to love plated bullets, then after some serious side-by-side target comparisons I simply gave up on them. Due to the manufacturing method, the plating results are simply too sporadic. That leaves 2 choices....

Lead. After trying many brands, about the only people I deal with now is Missouri Bullet Co (MBC). Their delivery and product quality is top notch. And they do enough volume "coating" to get it done correctly. Look here: https://missouribullet.com/details.php?prodId=317&category=5&secondary=27&keywords=

The only exception to this is T&B Bullets which offer polymer coated bullets which give fantastic results in my 32Auto. Look here: https://tbbullets.com/380-95gr-rn-polymer-coated/

Jacketed. If you get fed up with inconsistent results, then the only thing to do is got to jacketed. And the best all-around supplier of jacketed bullets is Rocky Mountain Reloading (RMR). RMR has free shipping, so the price you see is what you pay. Look here: https://www.rmrbullets.com/shop/bullets/pistol/9mm-355/380-95-gr-rmr-fmj-round-nose-bullets-new/

Additionally, both MBC and RMR have standing, year-round discounts to High Road members, such as yourself.

Hope this helps.

I use the same block as 9mm. I use a 90gr JHP from Everglades Ammo. They have options from 88gr up to 100gr. Using 3.4gr of W244, I chronoed mine averaging 985fps. I’m happy with them.

RMR” isn’t a word…it’s an acronym for three words.

Sorry on missing the three words!!! Just thought that might be all that was needed to be said for people who frequent here!!!

Rocky Mountain Reloading!!! For those who may not know. After I found them I haven't looked back!!!

God Bless Jake and his team!!! Thanks Jake!!!

RashQ,

I was just fooling around…no harm or maliciousness intended. Sorry if I offended you

Take care,

I believe @LiveLife may be helpful here.😉
THR discount code was already PMed to @frjeff. 👍

@LiveLife is extremely helpful to many who visit here, especially me!!! He is incredibly detailed with his answers, suggestions and time expended on multiple reloading subjects!!! ... Can't appreciate him and his help enough!!!
Glad to help. :) After 28 years of marriage to wife who now has become my 24/7 whip cracking taskmaster in retirement with never ending "honey do" project list with no union breaks or sick days ... THR/shooting/reloading is what's keeping me sane.
