I have $200 dollars (preferably under $200) to spend on upgrading my 10/22

I am trying to find a good bull barrel....and a decent stock.

please post your suggestion's of which barrel and stock you would get if you had $200 dollars to spend on it.

I was thinking of a Clerke barrel sitting in a Hogue over molded rubber stock?

Thanks,

Ryan

My son and used Clerke barrels and were happy with them. For stocks, we bought unfinished Boyd's thumbhole stocks and finished them ourselves. The unfinished stocks were, a couple years ago, about $95.

IMO, for low but effective cost, Green Mountain barrel (sporter or bull) and whatever stock best fits you (other than the Butler Creek stock, comb is too low and drops too much for most applications particularly using a scope). I prefer the Bell and Carlson Anschütz-type stock.
