I put a vibration dampener on the bull barrel I installed on my own "Barbie Doll" 10-22. I don't think it shrunk my group sizes much, if any at all, but it looks kinda cool!
Yes sir - as soon as I can get my wife to take a picture with her cell phone, I'll post it. Thanks for asking! You got a picture by chance?

Here it is. That’s my 10/22, our kitchen table and my wife’s toes.
As you can see, I have an extended magazine release on my 10/22 as well. The 15-round extended magazine actually belongs to my wife. She uses it in her Ruger “American Rimfire” .22LR.
What doesn’t show up in the pictures is the bolt buffer, the drop-in target trigger assembly, and the aftermarket extractor. Please don’t ask me what brand anything is - it’s been a while since I played “Barbie Doll” with my 10/22, and about all I remember is I ordered most of the parts from Midway.
Oh, the scope is a 6X44 “Alaskan Guide” from Cabela’s. I have one just like it on a Kimber bolt action .22LR. Sadly, it looks like Cabela’s doesn’t carry their “Alaskan Guide” line of scopes anymore. The ones I’ve had always served me well.
Nice! I built one with Clerk 16 in bullbarrel, Power Customs target hammer, Corelite synthetic stock and bolt buffer. For many years it wore a BSA Sweet .22 scope that was adjustable from 50 to 100 yards and was a tack-driver on small game and prairie dogs!
The BSA lasted about 8 years before the torrents wouldn't hold tight any more. I gave the rifle to my oldest son and it now wears a Vortex .22 scope. Still a tack-driver, just doesn't adjust between 50 & 100 yards. It hasn't been out much as my boys lost interest in guns & hunting. I ask my younger son if he'll take his kids hunting & shooting and he yes yes but I think I'll be the last hunter gun enthusiast in my family. I just hope I'm able to stick around long enough to teach my grand kids if I have any.
I have a second build, Choate folding stock, Truglo 2X red dot (very good red dot!!), and fibeoptic sights and bolt buffer. That's my small game rifle and it works great.
10/22 Collector #3 with stock barrel and factory modular stock has over 6000 round count but still produces around 1/2"-3/4" groups at 50 yards and 1.25"-1.5" groups at 100 yards with ammunition it prefers and now features these upgrades - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...22lr-on-the-cheap.898035/page-2#post-1230405210/22 upgrades
