Any help would be appreciated on what choke patterns winchester 3 inch #1 buckshot the best at 0-50 yards? Don't want to go to the trouble of going online to buy a bunch of unwanted shells, seeing I can't seem to find any locally on shelves. I want a nice 24 inch uniform pattern but not like a soccer ball diameter of pattern. A coworker invited me to go run some hounds up in the southern part of Georgia and hope to get a deer late November on the hunt scheduled. I want to use my late Uncles sidebyside shotgun this year and it has a modified and full choke. Dont want to use anything less that 20 pellets per shell so I can get a good chance of getting a moving buck. Maybe I should also try patterning some remington or federal 3 inch #4 buckshot when I get a chance, can find at least one of the brands of #4 local. What do you think? Thanks
