I have an Anschutz "woodchucker" .22 LR rifle and need a magazine (actually just mag springs, but whatever) for this wonderful little rifle.
Any help would be appreciated.
Steve
Are there any other numbers on it to designate the model? In any case, it may very well use the standard Anchutz .22LR magazine, which go for about $40.
Had a problem with the plastic base on the magazine for my Anchutz Model 370. It just broke. I found that a Remington 10 shot magazine will fit perfectly if you file down the front and rear top edges of the magazine sides flush with the front and rear sides. Try-fit until it locks in place. I filed approximately 1/2" off the back edges and approximately 5/8" off the front edges. The Remingtom mag is certainly less expensive. Other makes may fit (Stevens?) but I haven't tried any of them.
Call or email Neal Johnson's Gunsmithing Inc. in Colorado Springs Colorado he is the national service center for Anschutz. He will probably have the parts and if not he will definately have the knowledge to help you out. His website is nealjguns.com
