Have a chance to get a Nikon Monarch UCC 6-24x40 AO (IIRC) pretty cheap. Has target knobs and appears in extremely good condition. I'd have maybe $150 in it. I just took a quick look so I'm not exactly sure of objective size and whether it's 6-20 or 6-24.

I looked all over the interweb and the prices float all over the map. This must be discontinued as nobody seems to be selling them right now. I have no Nikons, so I have nothing to compare against.

Good deal or no??

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but it was stated that the scope has a 40mm objective and goes up to 24x with an adjustable objective lens
150 sounds pretty good to me as long as it has a reticle you like for it's intended purpose.

does it look like this one? http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=7&f=163&t=1049986

if so it sold for about 475 new and about half that or more used. I would gladly play 150 for one. in fact, if you wan to pay 150 for it I would probably pay you 175 or so for it. :) I don't even know what I would put it on, but sure sounds like a nice scope.

It's an older design, nikon has gone to side adjust parallax, but it should still work great.

scope

I have 2 of those, both over 12 years old. Work great! Both have parallax adjustment on obj.
I wouldn't sell mine for $150,fyi.....
I think you'll be very happy and still under Nikon's lifetime warranty.

I'd also buy it in a heartbeat for $150. The scope is an older one, and there are honestly much better scopes out there, but not for $150.

Incredible deal...Nikon glass is first class, and the price for that Monarch is well below what a used one usually costs...especially with that power range.
