so i am hoping that you can all help.
i picked up this .22lr. conversion kit for my AR-15 today....the tag said that it is a ciener which was false. (i own a ciener, and unless they just changed the design, it definately isn't!)

there are absolutely NO markings on the kit whatsoever, no paperwork, just the bolt and a magazine.

there are a few unique features which i thought might help.
first, the chamber insert is plated, as seen in the photos.
second, there is rifling in the "bore" of the adapter.

the most puzzling is that it seems that the ejector/extractor is on the wrong side of the conversion. i assumed that it should be on the ejection port side of the bolt, while this one is on the interior.

the closest thing i could find to this unit was the colt conversion....however this doesn't have colt on it anywhere.

any help would be awesome! thanks in advance.

ok, got some info over at ar15.com

from all the replies, this is the dpms .22 conversion. based on the old colt design.
just thought i would let everyone know that might have been curious.

i am glad they were able to help, i knew it wasn't a ciener as you stated already and it wasn't at all like the cmmg one that i have either.
