Replacement ejector designed for the short .45ACP cartridge case. Magazine & standard 1911 magazine catch assembly not included. No license required for purchase

Has anybody tried these? I'm not sure why this interests me but I can't help but think this would be fun, if not particularly useful.

(the Hi-Point .45 thread got me thinking-that usually costs me money)

Not to spoil your fun if you just want a pistol caliber Mauser, but if you have a 1911, perhaps a cheaper, easier and more useful way to get a 45ACP carbine would be a Mec-tec upper.

Yep, that's the Rhineland conversion. They're pretty neat, although it's a subjective opinion on my part. Some folks don't think so.

As for me, I like Rhineland's stuff. He's a member here, too.

Ever see a DeLisle carbine? This is an easy way to get a practical equivalent from one of those kludgy Indian Enfields.
